the way beyond the mind begins in the mind, with the elemental thought 'i am.' follow that thought and go beyond the mind.
right here & now, even drop that elemental thought and feel the 'i am' as being, complete awareness w/ all senses, centered inside the body

It is useful to consider Atheism, it is right but misses the wow of it all. And religion is too tied up in the looking for results.
