right now

a northeast wind is blasting a silvery solution of water spray and jets of air across the hide and seek of white caps on the surging river

two goldfinches, three black-capped chickadees and a single downy woodpecker stay busy at their places on the birdfeeder as wild rain storms

the rain has been falling for two whole days and the forecast says it'll continue through the night into morning, but right now it's raining

the rain is falling on the pool of standing water filling the mercurial unenergetic overflow with one thousand hard and constant ripples

looking at the picture window, i see two lamps, the wall, and a hanging screen of basho walking in woods although outside it's still raining
